2 new editions in Dell Rugged Extreme series
Dell India recently launched two new variants in its extreme series- the Dell Latitude 14 Rugged Extreme and the Dell Latitude 12 Rugged Extreme. The two devices are meant withstand heavy rains, moisture and can tolerate up to 60 kgs of weight on them. The mean machines also boast of a working temperature range of form a bone chilling -29 degree Celsius to a sweltering 63 degree Celsius.
The company has designed the two variants keeping the military, heavy industries and construction personnel as its target audience. The latest entrants in the Rugged Extreme series are available in Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 dual core processors. It also comes with 16 GB of RAM on-board. The Graphic properties are also powered by Intel. Intel HD Graphics 4400 is available on the i3 and i5 variants while Intel HD Graphics 5000 is available on the i7 model. Both devices have full HD webcam and a 1366 X 768 pixel resistive multi-touch display.
The company offers a choice between Windows 8.1 Pro (64-bit), Windows 8.1 (64-bit), Windows 7 Professional (64-bit/32 bit) and Linux Ubuntu 12.04 to be installed on the devices.
The Dell Latitude 14 Rugged Extreme is priced at Rs 2,29,999 while the Latitude 12 Rugged Extreme comes with a price tag of Rs 2,29,999.
