Himgiri Zee University steps into fight Swine flu.
With the increasing effect of Swine flu, Himgiri Zee University organized a two days check up camp for students, faculty members and other staff. On this occasion Dr. Prabhu Nautiyal and Dr. Pooja Nautiyal from Sharda Healthcare centre, Selaqui conducted the check up.
Apart from conducting the check up doctors prescribed various measures to combat this epidemic. Avoiding public places, mask on the face, not touching eyes and nose without washing hands, prevention from contaminated water and regular medical advice on if symptoms of swine flu are found, were some of the main prescription suggested by the doctors.
On this occasion Vice Chancellor, Himgiri Zee University, Mr. Abhishek Asthana advised that we must act patiently in this time of epidemic and should try to aware people about prevention from swine flu as much as possible.
Prior to this the students of Mass Communication department pasted posters and pamphlets on the prevention from swine flu at different places in university campus. Moreover the community radio 107.8 FM Himgiri Ki Awaaz run by the university has been broadcasting programme on prevention and awareness from Swine flu from last day.
The initiatives taken by university were praised by the doctors conduction checkups in the camp. They asserted that initiatives such as taken by the university goes long way in strengthening the society as a whole.
The camp was coordinated by Mr. Atul Singh and Mr. Kamal Kishor. On this occasion head and in-charge from various were also present.
