Lockdown: Education Ministers house locked from outside by protesters

Dehradun: Angry with the irrational attitude of private schools and deplorable conditions of the government run schools protesters comprising of angry teachers and parents staged a protest outside the Education Ministers house here in Dehradun.

The Government has come under lot of criticism in the recent days on the issue. Several NGO’s, and other organizations have held protests, took out processions to create awareness and to oppose the issue but the government seemed to pay no heed to them. On Tuesday morning the inability of the people to meet Mantri Prasad Naithani, the Education Minister of Uttarakhand proved to be a tipping point as the angry protestors locked the gate from outside. The people also went as far as to put up posters on the gates which read “Gumshuda ki Talash” (Search for missing minister).
