TISVA Launches its Innovative Spring 2015 Collection
Mumbai: TISVA launched its elegant spring collection of decorative lighting among a galaxy of artists, designers and architects, at the TISVA Studio in Mumbai. The event was a celebration of taste – both of fine gourmet and lighting aesthetics.
The evening was graced by Michelin starred Indian Chef Vikas Khanna. Not only did the Masterchef chose the evening’s gourmet selections, but also prepared a delicious dish of Chicken Roulade – an innovative recipe of chicken and sweet potato, from his personal favourite recipes. The dish was prepared using the innovative Usha InfinityCook Halogen Oven.
This concept of innovation was also shared by the other dazzling stars of the evening – the much awaited TISVA Spring Collection. Just as fine ingredients make for great recipes, good design, bespoke materials and innovative technology allows one to see the world in a different light.
The new table and floor lamps from the Spring collection were high on technology featuring dimmable and tunable controls. The former allows users to get the right intensity of light, while the latter provides a choice of light from yellow to white. Designed for the modern desk and floor, the collection is a revolution on how people interact with light through touch and finger swipes.
Keeping in tune with the season, the new chandelier additions featured organic designs inspired from nature. A variety of materials from blown glass to chrome finishes characterized the mesmerizing chandeliers. Crafted to bring sophistication to homes, some of the chandeliers are even complimented with similar wall lights.
While, the new kids collection featuring Barbie – every little girl’s favorite character – is all fun and colour. The collection comes in two options – Everyday Barbie and Glam Barbie. The Everyday range features a Pretty in Pink Barbie print, while the Glam lamps sport Barbie doing what she does best – glamming it up.
