Tanu Weds Manu Returns grabs 22 crores in opening 2 days
Theaters running full for the sequel of Tanu Weds Manu
Kangna Ranaut and R Madhvan starrer Tanu Weds Manu returns seems to have hit the right note with the audiences as the film garnered almost rupees 22 crore in the first two days since its release. According to a renowned trade analyst the film is expected to fetch around 35 crore in its opening weekend.
Tanu Weds Manu returns picks up four years after part one, feisty Tanu (Ranaut) and tubby Manu are having marital issues, which ends up with one in a mental asylum and the other seeking asylum in the comforts of parental home. Both try to pick up the threads of their lives while contemplating separation from their partner. Directed by Director Anand L Rai and written by Himanshu Sharma, the film sees Knagna in a double role.
