Rain plays spoilsport in India Bangladesh Test

The lone test between India and Bangladesh ended in a tame draw after the rain gods intervened in the game for 5 consecutive days. Off spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was the only bright spot on another wet and rain-curtailed day as he completed his 10th five-wicket haul in tests. Harbhajan Singh too had a good comeback picking up 3 scalps in the first innings. The turbanator was returning to the Indian test sqaud after a long hiatus and complimented Ashwin as the duo combined for 8 wickets in the first innings. He also went past Wasim Akram’s tally of 414 wickets in test matches.

Bangladesh forced to follow on

Bangladesh were bundled out for 256 in their first innings and with 30 overs left in the final session, Tamim Iqbal (16) and Imrul Kayes (seven) batted out 15 overs to reach 23-0 before the teams shook hands for a draw.
