BJP to protest Uttarakhand Assembly on 14th March
Haridwar BJP district president Suresh Rathore today claimed that about 10,000 party workers would gherao the Vidhan Sabha on March 14. Taking a review meeting of the Assembly gherao programme, Rathore directed district office bearers to ensure maximum participation of the workers for the Assembly protest.
Rathore urged Haridwar district party legislators Madan Kaushik (rural) Swami Yatishwaranand, (Jwalapur) Chandrasekhar Bhattewala,(Ranipur-BHEL) Aadesh Chauhan and (Lakshar) Sanjay Gupta, to ensure maximum turnout of the party workers for the gherao.
“Around 10,000 party workers from Haridwar alone will reach the protest venue. The party has arranged 50 buseas from the city, while from rural segments of Bhagwanpur, Bahadrabad, Narsain, Lakshar and Khanpur, 200 buses will carry the party workers to Banno Intermediate College in Dehradun,” he said.
“When the government takes a decision to sell liquor through Agricultural Production Committees, he sides with alleged corrupt officials who had misused disaster relief funds during flash floods of 2013,” said Tiwari.
