One person was killed and three others were injured after a vehicle that they were travelling in fell into a 200-meters deep ditch on Rikholi-Mussoorie road, about 25km from Dehradun, in the wee hours of Friday.

The four worked in an NGO together and were on their way to Mussoorie in an SUV when the accident took place around 3:30am. Upon receiving information, a team of Mussoorie police reached the spot and initiated the relief and rescue operation with the help of State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and locals.
