Kumaun University finds place in QS Asia University rankings 2021

Kumaun University in Uttarakhand has been ranked between 551-600 in the Asia University Rankings. The university vice chancellor and other officials are proud of this achievement of the university. The Asia-specific edition compared the performance of universities in Asia based on 11 key criteria last November 23, including academic status, graduate employment, research quality, web presence, internationalization of campus, international research network, and the internationals of each institution Diversity of cooperation was included. The performance of these key parameters was the basis for determining the overall ranking of an institution.

University Vice Chancellor N.K. Joshi pointed out that Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), a global higher education think-tank and compiler of the world’s largest consulting university ranking portfolio, has released QS Asia University Rankings 2021 for Asia’s continent’s best higher education institutions. Kumaon University has been ranked on par with Bharti Vidyapeeth, Pune and Delhi Technological University in the QS Asia rankings.

On this achievement of the university, Mr. Joshi said that his aim is to make the university an important center of creativity, entrepreneurship, innovation, research and research. He said that if India is to become self-reliant, then work will have to be done keeping research and development in mind. The university’s campus directors, professors and departmental heads have expressed happiness over this achievement of the university.
