CM Rawat asks all DM’s to take all necessary precautions against Swine Flu

Dehradun: Chief Minister Harish Rawat has given directions to all DMs to take all necessary precautions against Swine Flu. Complete stock of medicines must be made available in all hospitals. In case there is deficiency of any particular medicine at any hospital in any district, the DM must give immediate information to Principal Secretary Medical and Health.

The CM inquired all DMs to give reports of what arrangements have been made in their district to combat Swine Flu. The DM  of Udham Singh Nagar said that they have found two positive cases of Swine Flu in their district.

The DMs of all other districts  reported that they have complete stock of medicines in their districts. The CM has asked all the DMs to ensure that the hospitals in every district have separate ward for Swine Flu.

In case, there is a case of swine flu in any district, they should be treated at priority.

Along with this, people must be informed that there is nothing to worry about Swine Flu and it can be cured.

The CM has also passed a message to the public that the government is prepared to deal with Swine Flu. The DG Health has also been asked to maintain coordination between private hospitals and ensure that there is sufficient stock of medicines at all times.
