244 Corona cases found in Uttarakhand today, total nears 6000
On Saturday, 244 new cases of corona infection have been reported in Uttarakhand. After this, the total infected cases in the state now stands at 5961. There are currently 2365 cases active in the state. At the same time, 3495 patients have recovered and gone home.
On Saturday, 54 infected people have recovered in the state. On Saturday, six new cases were reported in Almora and Pauri, three in Bageshwar, nine in Champawat, 72 in Dehradun, 61 in Haridwar, 30 in Nainital, 18 in Pithoragarh, four in Tehri, 23 in Udham Singh Nagar and 12 in Uttarkashi.
53 percent of patients infected through contact
Out of a total of 1615 patients received during the last one week in the state, 861 patients are patients who got corona due to contact with a corona infected. According to the Health Bulletin issued by the Health Department, out of 1615 patients, 861 patients were in-contact patients, which is close to 53 percent of the total patients. In Haridwar district, the percentage of patients coming in contact is more than 82 percent.
A total of 3465 samples were sent for testing today. Results of 6396 samples is awaited as on 25 July. The doubling rate in the state is 20.81 days.
