Tungeshwar Adventure Opening Ceremony

Rudraprayag: Garhwali, Kumaoni and Jaunsari artists were the highlight at the opening ceremony of Tungeshwar Adventure.the folk artists showed their talents by portraying various cultures and customs of Uttarakhand through their presentations. The event was inaugurated by cabinet minister Dr Harak Singh Rawat. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Rawat acknowledged the huge potential of the Uttarakhand Tourism. He said the youth can find plenty of job opportunities in this sector especially in the rafting category. Alaknanda, Mandakini, Pindar and other rivers can be used for rafting and other water sports activities. The Minister also added that the state government aims to develop the area so as to increase the tourist influx. The event was presided over by Smt Shailarani Rawat, who is the MLA from Kedarnath.
