Death toll due to Covid-19 passes 100,000 in the US

So far more than 100,000 deaths have been reported from Coronavirus Covid-19 in the US. According to Johns Hopkins University, this figure is the highest in the world. However, irrespective of this, all 50 provinces of the country have declared exemption in lockdown. American researchers have warned that if the vaccine is not produced and the infection continues in this way, then there will be 5-6 million infected in the country. At the same time, the figure of deaths can reach 1.4 million by 2024.

New York worst affected

New York has seen the most devastation in the USA, where it accounts for 22% of the total cases, but about 30,000 deaths have occurred. In New York itself, the United Nations has embassies alongwith headquarters of major companies around the world. 55,000 have lost their lives when the death tolls of New York, New Jersey, California, and Illinois and Massachusetts are combined.

Biggest Tragedy of Six Decades

Despite lockdown, deaths in the US have reached 100,000. Earlier in 1957, one lakh 16 thousand people were killed by the flu and in 1968 one lakh people died. But this figure is also likely to be exceeded soon. During World War I, six lakh 75 thousand Americans lost their lives due to the flu.

Americans disinterested with increasing infection

On the other hand, many Americans seem to be unaware of rising cases of deaths and infections and were seen sunbathing on beaches, fishing in boats and swimming. Thousands of people gathered in Florida, New York and other coastal areas. Videos of people partying in pools and clubs are also becoming very viral on social media. People also gathered on the streets on Memorial Day to commemorate the commemoration of soldiers killed in the war fought by America.
