Jan-Jan Ka Prayas, Shiksha Ka Vikas to increase literacy rate in the state

A campaign ‘Jan-Jan Ka Prayas, Shiksha Ka Vikas’ is being conducted to increase literacy rate in the state. For this purpose, 6 April, 2015 marked as special day, a meeting of school managing committee of each school would be held on this day to provide greater access of children in Primary and Upper Primary Schools in the state.
Giving this information, Additional Chief Secretary of School Education S. Raju informed that elected representatives and parents of children would be invited and their support would be taken for penetration of their children in school. During this meeting, various issues related to education field would also be shared and discussed, such as, details of students of academic year 2014-15, difficulties of last session and free of cost books, school dress, mid-day meal, National Child Health Scheme, scholarship, qualification of teachers, library, games, scout and guide, availability of resources in the schools, computer aided education, annual function of school and convening of science fair. All efforts would be made to make it useful for the common people.
The Additional Chief Secretary S. Raju said that it is expected to the DMs that they must be given directions to their subordinate officials to participate in the program to succeed this campaign.
