CBSE declares results for class 10th

  • Girls outshine boys
  • 94,474 students score 10 CGPA

Girls once again outperformed boys in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 results today, which recorded a pass percentage of 97.32, about a per cent less than last year. The CBSE website temporarily crashed earlier in the day, which the officials said was due to the heavy traffic on the site.

A total of 94,474 students scored 10 CGPA (cumulative grade points average). Of these 49,392 were boys, and 45,082 were girls. In Delhi, 8,026 students scored 10 CGPA.

PM Modi tweeted his best wishes to all the candidates who passed the CBSE exam. “To all my young friends who passed the CBSE Class X exams- Congratulations & best wishes for the continuing academic journey.” the Prime Minister tweeted.

Thiruvananthapuram region has the highest pass percentage in the country with 99.77 per cent students qualifying in the exam.
