Leopard attacks boy during a cricket match

Pauri: An 11 year old boy was attacked by a leopard while playing cricket near his house in Veena Malli village . The boy immediately taken to the government run hospital in Kotdwar after sustaining multiple injuries from the attack. It has been reported that 11 year old Rohan s/o Jaipal Bisht was playing cricket with his friends near his house in Veena Malli village. He was attacked when he had gone to retrieve the ball in the bushes. On seeing the leopard attack, his friends started making loud noises and were able to scare the animal away but not before the boy had sustained serious injuries.

Soon nearby people also came to the boy’s help and took him to the hospital at the block level where he was refered to Kotdwar after primary treatment.
