Uttarakhand corona update: 156 cases found on 19 August
On Friday, within the last 24 hours, 156 new infected have been found in nine districts of the state. While 120 patients have been cured. At the same time, one patient has died. The number of active patients has increased to 1006. Whereas on Thursday there were 977 active patients in the state.
According to the Health Department, the test report of 1919 samples has come negative on Friday. At the same time, out of 156 cases reported, maximum 71 cases are from Dehradun district. Apart from this, 10 infected patients have been reported in Haridwar, 30 in Nainital, 7 in Almora, 1 in Chamoli, 13 in Pauri, 5 in Pithoragarh, 16 in Udham Singh Nagar and 3 in Uttarkashi.
Not a single infected patient has been found in Bageshwar, Champawat, Rudraprayag and Tehri. The state’s recovery rate was 95.12 percent and infection rate was 7.52 percent today.
