Angered by waterlogging Khurbura residents protest outside DM’s office

Dehradun: Residents of Khurbura and adjoining colonies held a protest at the District Magistrate office in Dehradun on Tuesday against the problem of waterlogging in the Khurbura area.

The protesters reached the District Magistrate office and shouted slogans against the district administration and the Municipal Corporation of Dehradun. They submitted a memorandum of demands to District Magistrate Ravinath Raman.

The residents were angry as the season’s first monsoon showers had created water logging problems for them. The incomplete sewer line works increased their woes further.
