3 dead, 8 injured after utility vehicle falls in Gorge

Bageshwar: 3 people were reported dead, while 8 others were injured after a Maxx utility vehicle fell into a Gorge near Balighat in Bageshwar. The injured were taken to hospital in Bageshwar. The accident occurred around 3:45 pm in the evening when a Maxx vehicle UK-02-TA-0319 lost control and fell into the river below.

Locals and police rushed to the accident site to search for the survivor’s. The 3 people killed in the accident have been identified as Dyal Ram, Madan Ram and Sanjay Kumar. All 3 people belonged to Bageshwar block.
