AIPMT 2015 results declared
The results of the All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT), the gateway exam for admission into some top-notch state-run medical colleges, were declared on Monday by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The retest was held on July 25. The results are now available on board’s official website, cbseresults.nic.in. The examination is used to fill up over 3,800 coveted medical seats – around 15% of the total.
The Supreme Court had in June directed the CBSE to hold the AIPMT afresh after allegations of large-scale irregularities in the test held in May. The court also asked the board to declare the results by August 17. The CBSE had announced stringent measures to deter the use of unfair means in the retest after the apex court’s directive.
Large number of candidates appeared for re-examination, those who appeared earlier for regular examination. The CBSE board has conducted the re-test on 25th July with the instructions of Supreme Court and ordered the board to announce results on 17th August. So, the board is likely to announce AIPMT re-test 2015 results today at main site.
