Weather expected to change in Uttarakhand from Tuesday

The uncertainty of the weather in Uttarakhand remains intact. On Thursday, after the rain, the weather started to clear up, but the sudden surge in the mercury increased the discomfort of the people.Temperature in mountainous towns like Uttarkashi, Pithoragarh and Almora crossed 30 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no scope for much change in the weather on Sunday and Monday, but rain is expected in the state on Tuesday.

According to Bikram Singh, Director of State Meteorological Center, the heat is expected to increase in the next two days. He said that these days maximum temperature is four to five degrees Celsius above normal, but there may be changes in weather patterns from Tuesday. During this time there is also the possibility of rain and hailstorms in mountainous areas.

Saturday proved to be the hottest day of the season in Dehradun. The maximum temperature was recorded at 37.6 degree Celsius here. At Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar, it was recorded at 38.2 and 39.1 degree Celsius, respectively.
