Drivers block bus services after scuffle with policemen at Haridwar bus stand

Haridwar: A heated argument between a bus driver and a policeman led turned ugly when reportedly the policemen beat up the driver. As a result all the bus drivers blocked any bus movement from Haridwar bus station as a mark of protest.

According to witness reports, a scuffle broke out when policemen asked the bus driver of a JNNURM bus which was parked behind a transport department to move the bus late evening on Friday. Soon things got out of control and the driver was reportedly beaten by the cops.

Soon all the bus drivers united and blocked both the exits of the Haridwar bus stop causing inconvenience to the travelers.
