Technical glitch proves costly for Orient cinema hall

Dehradun: Orient Cinema hall, one of the few single screen cinema hall in the city had to deal with angry mob of movie goers after its projector malfunctioned. According to reports Orient Cinema hall was screening the movie Hate Story 3 which had released yesterday itself when the incident happened. Midway during the movie the projector stopped working due to which some section of the crowd turned angry and demanded their money back.

The cinema hall owner tried to settle the matter but things soon got out of hand as some miscreants started damaging the movie hall’s property. Police was called on to the scene where they confirmed reports of damage to the cinema hall.
