Counseling to be held from July 10 for admission in UG-PG courses of Pantnagar University

The online counseling process for admission in Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology for the year 2023-24 is starting from July 10. Controller of Examination Dr. Vinod Kumar told that the admission process of Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG) and MCA courses will run from 10 to 15 July. He told that on the recommendation of the admission committee, the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Dr. Manmohan Singh Chouhan has given his approval to the dates of the counseling process. Undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and MCA counseling will be completed from July 10 to 15.

The work of allotting seats to the candidates participating in the counseling will be done on July 21. On the other hand, the date for submission of fees for undergraduate (UG), postgraduate and MCA has been fixed from July 22 to 24. Along with this, from 25 to 27 July, the graduate (UG) level candidates will get all their certificates verified. Postgraduate (PG) level candidates will get their certificates verified on July 28. The successful candidates in the counseling will get all their certificates verified at Dr. BB Singh auditorium of Agriculture College.

356 seats in graduation, 269 in masters and 225 in PhD

This time 356 seats for graduation have been earmarked for the candidates seeking admission in the university. On these candidates will get admission on the basis of their merit. This includes 130 seats for BSc AG, 62 for BVSc & AH, 70 for BSc Community Science, 24 for BSc Fisheries, 30 for BTech FoodTech and 40 for BTech Biotech. Controller of Examination Dr. Vinod Kumar told that this time 50 percent seats of B.Tech Biotech will be filled through Pant University, while till now these seats have been filled through JEE Mains. At the same time, there will be 269 seats for various courses of Masters and 225 seats for various courses for Ph.D. Whereas in Diploma in Veterinary Pharmacy and Livestock Extension, admission will be given on the basis of merit for 30 seats.

Admission process started in Agribusiness and PhD Management including MBA

The admission process for MBA and MBA Agribusiness Management has also been started by the university. For this, online applications were invited till June 30. In this, admission will be given on the basis of merit of C-MAT and CAT entrance exam. Controller of Examinations Dr. Kumar told that apart from those who have applied earlier, new candidates can also participate in this process.
