Kathgodam Shatabdi rail service daily from May 5
Catering to the growing demand, the railways has decided to make Kathgodam Shatabdi Express a daily service from May 5 for the convenience of passengers.
It has been decided to increase the frequency of New Delhi Kathgodam New Delhi Shatabdi Express from six days a week to daily from May 5, a senior Northern Railway official said.
With the Kathgodam Shatabdi becoming a daily train, the special weekly service between New Delhi and Kathgodam every Thursday will no longer be operational from May 5.
Besides, an additional stoppage of the New Delhi Ajmer New Delhi Shatabdi Express at Bandikui station has been added on experimental basis for a period of six months from April 22.
The New Delhi Ajmer Shatabdi Express is scheduled to reach Bandikui station at 9.23 AM, while on its return journey it will arrive at Bandikui station at 6.58 PM with a two-minute stoppage in both the directions, the official said.
