Man claims life saved after Nokia mobile stops bullet

Nokia’s mobile phones of yesteryear’s have been the butt of jokes due to their sturdiness but if reports are to be believed then  a man’s life may have been saved by a Nokia 301. A Nokia feature phone is reported to have recently taken a bullet for its owner – literally – and saved his life.

According to a tweet by Microsoft’s General Manager of Core UX for Windows Desktop, Tablet and Phone Peter Skillman, a man in Afghanistan was saved last week after a bullet got stuck in a Nokia phone.
Though it is not mentioned nor clear who’s life the Nokia phone saved, the story has gone viral followed by memes as usual.

But what is interesting is that many mobile phones have been reported to have acted as bulletproof in the past, saving the lives of their owners.
