Photographer captures quidditch magic in remote Uttarakhand village

Anshu Agarwal, a 25 year old freelance photographer who also teaches kids in remote Uttarakhand villages brought Potter magic in real life through his levitation photography skills.

quidditch-uttarakhandThese pictures captured the children in Kalap village of Uttarakhand playing with broomsticks, snitch and a quaffle. Anshu Agarwal is working in an NGO as a teacher and is a freelance photographer. The photo shoot was an assignment given by this Harry Potter fan to his students.

This photography was done on a wooden table set up. This set of eight photos were edited on Photoshop and merged. Quidditch is the wizarding sports which is played between two teams of seven players each and has been transformed into a muggle (non magical folks) tournament in various parts of the world.uttarakhand-village-quidditch

He says, “Since I had already worked extensively on Levitation Photography, I thought of making an effort to materialise their fantasy. Recreating a Quidditch match for real was my objective”.
