Difference between central and title sponsorship

Only domestic companies dominate the central sponsorship of IPL. The rights of both central and title sponsorship are different. The rights to jerseys do not come under central sponsorship in the IPL. That is, only the title sponsorship has the right on the logo printed on the jersey.

Apart from this, the company gets good space for its branding like post-match presentation area, backdrop in the dugout and boundary rope. Title sponsorship costs more money than a central contract.
