Roger Federer wins 10th Basel title; 103 overall

Roger Federer made quick work of Australian Alex De Minaur to claim his 10th title at Basel. The hometown boy hit 4 Aces and broke 4 times to claim the win over the young Aussie. The 6-2, 6-2 win also gave Federer his 103rd title overall taking him closer to Jimmy Connors all time record of 109.

This was the 4th title of 2019 for the 38 year old from Switzerland. Federer currently ranked 3rd in the world beat a player in the final who was born a year after he turned professional. This was also Roger’s 24th straight win in Basel.

Federer to play at Tokyo Olympics 2020

Earlier Roger Federer confirmed to participate in the Tokyo Olympics next year.
