France government approves special virus pass rule

In France, the exercise to bring the economy back on track has intensified amid increasing cases of corona infection. Under this, a new law has been approved in the House. Under this new law, it has been made mandatory for all restaurants, domestic tourists to get special virus passes and for all health workers to get vaccination. However, this new decision has given rise to protests in the political corridor as well.

French President Emmanuel Macron says that it is very important to take these steps to prevent the increasing corona cases in the country. He has said that apart from reducing the number of patients in hospitals, it is very important to avoid the situation of lockdown and the safety of the citizens of our country. According to the new law, all health care workers will have to start getting vaccinated from September 15. Failure to do so may result in suspension.

Health passes have been made mandatory for all restaurants, trains, aircraft and other public places. At present, initially it has been implemented only for adults. But from September 30, this rule will be applicable to all persons above the age of 12 years. To take this health pass, people will have to provide proof that they have been fully vaccinated. Administration digital document can also be accepted in this regard. Apart from this, this health pass can also be taken by showing the negative report of corona and documents of recent recovery from corona.

The government has also given information regarding how it is to be implemented for foreigners. This bill was prepared about six days ago. For this, all the MPs worked overnight and prepared such a draft, which could get the opinion or approval of most of the MPs. After a long process on Sunday, this law was passed by the National Assembly late night. President Macron has spoken of a large-scale vaccination to fight the pandemic. During this, he took a dig at those who are making false statements about vaccine and vaccination.

Even before the passage of this bill, on Saturday, more than one and a half lakh people took to the streets and protested against it. These people were opposing the health pass given under the new rule made by the government. The protestors were demanding independence for this. The protesters said that the government did not tell them what to do or not.

In this regard, the President told the protesters that they have the freedom to present their point of view before the government in a dignified and respectful manner. But the pandemic cannot be dispelled by such a provision.
