Baahubali The Conclusion box office collection is epic, a lot like the SS Rajamouli film itself. If the numbers of the first weekend collection of Baahubali 2 are anything to go by, all box office rules should be rewritten immediately. According to trade analyst Ramesh Bala, this is a rough estimation about what to expect: “#Baahubali2 1st Weekend WW BO Estimates: #India Nett: ₹ 335 Crs Gross: ₹ 415 Crs Overseas: ₹ 125 Crs Total – ₹ 540 Crs (US $84 Million).” Soon, Karan Johar tweeted that the Hindi version of Baahubali 2 has done better than expected and earned Rs 128 crore in three days. “HISTORIC WEEKEND! Here is the HINDI language all india fri ( 41 crores) Saturday ( 40.5) Sunday ( 46.5!!!!!) grand total 128!! #Baahubali2,” Karan wrote.
And this is not all, the SS Rajamouli film is going strong across the world. Trade analyst quoted Rentrak figures, “Baahubali2 is creating HAVOC internationally… Early est: Has crossed $ 10 mn [₹ 64 cr+] in North America. Await final numbers! @Rentrak. #Baahubali2 – HINDI – Wknd: AUSTRALIA: A$ 839,323 [₹ 4.04 cr] NZ: NZ$ 301,694 [₹ 1.33 cr] UK: £ 195,711 [₹ 1.62 cr] – few to report @Rentrak.  The *Tamil version* of #Baahubali2 is  EXTRAORDINARY in Australia… Opening weekend: A$ 514,033 [₹ 2.47 cr]. @Rentrak. As the reports about how it is faring in India and abroad continue to come in, it has been established that Baahubali 2 has become a phenomenon. The film opened at 9000 screens worldwide, with almost 6,500 screens in India alone, becoming the first movie to get such a massive release. And while its team continued to hard sell the film prior to its release, many also doubted whether it will live up to all the hype. But the SS Rajamouli directorial didn’t disappoint. The film raked in Rs 121 crore in India on day one of its release, and a total of Rs 217 crore worldwide. But for an industry still obsessed with entering Rs 100-crore club, that’s not all. It continued its winning streak even on day two, and earned about Rs 285 crore gross in India and Rs 382 crore gross at the box office world over. But it is Baahubali day three numbers which took it beyond the unbelievable Rs 500 crore target. Given that the film has already earned about Rs 500 crore in pre-sale of rights, the final number is mind-boggling.
