Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar to appears before SIT in Chandigarh
Bollywood star Akshay Kumar arrived in Chandigarh on Wednesday morning to appear before the SIT, investigating the irregularities and shootout. He appeared before the SIT and is now undergoing interrogation. He was being questioned about the irregularity and firing from Shri Guru Granth Sahib in Bargadi of Punjab. SIT had issued summons to him for this. Inquiries are going on from Akshay to the seventh floor of the Police Headquarters.
It is said that SIT will be asking many other questions from the Bollywood actor apart from allegedly holding a meeting between Gurmeet Ram Rahim with Sukhbir Singh Badal. In view of inquiries from Akshay Kumar, very strict security has been done around the police headquarters.
Before this, Akshay Kumar had sought exemption from attending the inquiry in person on the phone from the senior police officers investigating the case, but he was left disappointed. In such a situation, it was now necessary to appear before his SIT. Akshay has been accused of holding a meeting between Sukhbir Singh Badal and Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim at his home in Mumbai. Akshay Kumar has denied this allegation. He said that he does not know Gurmeet Ram Rahim.
According to sources, Akshay Kumar had earlier told senior police officials that he had already said that he had no relation with his Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim. He has also said this on Twitter. In Chandigarh also, they will ask this question, so he should be allowed to not be present.
