Sensex scales over 400 points closes on record high

The Sensex closed at a new record high today due to a surge in shares of IT, metal and finance companies amid a strong global trend. The Sensex gained 413.45 points to end at 41,352.17 and the Nifty gained 111.05 points to end at 12,165.00.

Today the Sensex jumped 324 points in early trading to an all-time high of 41,262.88 points. Nifty was up 84.80 points or 0.70 percent at 12,138.75. The Nifty has also crossed its previous record level of 12,158.80.

There was a rise in shares of these companies

Among the Sensex companies, Tata Steel gained the most by up to 3.24 percent. In addition, Reliance (RIL), HDFC Bank, Infosys,  Vedanta, Infosys, Yes Bank, TCS, Maruti and Axis Bank saw a boom.

The decline in shares of these companies

Sun Pharma, ONGC, Power Grid, NTPC and Bajaj Auto declined.

After the fall of the first day of the week, the Indian stock market opened with a rise on the second trading day i.e. on Tuesday. The Sensex (Sensex) opened at a level of 41,058.82 after gaining 120.10 points. The Nifty of the National Stock Exchange opened at 12,090.75 after gaining 36.80 points. The Sensex was at its all-time high at around 9:50 am. Sensex reached 1,204.58. The Sensex had also gone up to 41,185.03 on Monday.
