Communal tension prevails in Raiwala after murder of man
There was no let up in the murder case of a man in Raiwala area of Dehradun.
On Thursday night at around 12 o’clock in protest against the murder in Raiwala, some mischievous elements set fire to a shop in a Chandradani complex near Shiv Chowk. The fire brigade reached the notice to control the fire.
The fire of this matter is spreading gradually. Half a dozen shops, including ray machine, has been damaged by ransacking of the complex in Raiwala. The market is closed since Friday morning. The schools located in the market area have also been shut down. The presence of schools in the vicinity is extremely low.
After the incident of rioting in Rishikesh’s Shanti Nagar area, Section 144 has been imposed in some areas of Raiwala, Shyampur Guamaniwala Rishikesh, by the police administration. SP Sarita Doval issued a warning to protesters for harsh action on any unpleasant incident giving information of section 144. All merchant establishments are closed in the area.
