Uttarakhand’s Pawandeep crowned winner of Indian Idol season 12
The grand finale of the singing reality show Indian Idol 12 concluded on 15th August and Pawandeep Rajan of Uttarakhand became the winner of Indian Idol 12. He has also got a luxury car and Rs 25 lakh in reward.
There is an atmosphere of celebration in Uttarakhand since Pawandeep was elected the winner. Congratulation has started on social media. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has congratulated Pawandeep by tweet.
He has written that ‘Congratulations to the son of Uttarakhand for victory. I wish you a bright future from Baba Kedar. You have illuminated the name of Uttarakhand as well as winning the hearts of people across the country’.
Pawandeep inherited the music
Pawandeep has has a rich background in music. Pawandeep Rajan is a resident of Champawat in Uttarakhand. His father Suresh and uncle Satish Rajan taught him music. His Grandfather Rati Rajan himself, was also a famous folk singer.
His father Suresh Rajan is a famous folk singer from Kumaon. Pawandeep’s maternal grandmother was also a folk singer. Pawandeep’s sister Jyotideep is also a singer. Pawandeep Rajan plays many musical instruments along with singing songs.
