Sports Fest to be launched on Uttarakhand Formation Day
Sports Minister Arvind Pandey held a meeting with the preparations for the Games Maha Kumbh-2017. During this, he said that this event will increase the awareness of the game in the state. For this, the widespread publicity of Games Maha Kumbha-2017 will also be done.
In fact, this year, the Games Mahakumbh will be organized between November 9 to December 13 in Uttarakhand . This event will be held at the Panchayat level, block, district and state level. Its purpose is to increase awareness of the game in the state, create an atmosphere for sports, create a platform for displaying their talents in the field of sports, including all the children in the rural and urban areas youth, the elderly and women.
Talented players will be selected
In the meeting, the Sports Minister informed that talented players will be selected in the Maha Kumbh and they will be given special training in high level. They would be given proper training so that they can illuminate the name of the state by getting medals in national-international sports competitions.
Mahakumbh to be the biggest promotion of sports
During this, it was also decided that wide publicity of sports Mahakumbh will be spread. For this, off line registration of participants has started and mobile app for online registration will also be launched. Social media, Facebook and Whatsapp will also be used for promotion.
The game Mahakumbha will be inaugurated by the ministers in charge of each district on the State Foundation Day. From here the torch will be started by the cross country race at the Justice Panchayat level and the launch of the game Mahakumbh.
