State level boxing tournament to be held in Pithoragarh from Oct 12 onwards

The state-level boxing competition will be held in Pithoragarh from October 12. The five-day event will be conducted in three categories. District Sports Officer Sanjeev Pauri told that the competition will be held in the elite category of women and men’s category upto the age of 40 years. Apart from this, there will also be competition in Boys and Girls category. All these programs will be done in Ramlila Maidan. Players who have participated in the competition will have to submit a certificate of age. Participants will have to register themselves in the sports office by October 8. Army and paramilitary forces personnel can also participate in this competition with some conditions.
