Badminton tournament begins in Ukhimath
On the occasion of Madhmeshwar Mela at Ukhamath Late Mahesh Chandra Tiwari and late Kulbhushan Awasthi Memorial Badminton Contest has begun in which a total of 22 double and 24 individuals are participating.
Before launching Badminton competitions in the ground of Raika Ukhimath, former MLA Asha Nautiyal said that The peace of souls and people working in society will always be remembered through these competitions. She said that this kind of competition gives a platform to youngsters to show their talent. She said that doubles and singles competitions being played have been organized by the social worker Devi Prasad Tiwari.
Anurag Rawat defeats Mrityunjay in the singles category of competition. Similarly, Pramod Negi defeated Sandeep Rawat, Himanshu Negi defeated Naveen Shiv and Rajendra Singh Negi defeated Devi Prasad.
