Angry mob vandalize theater screening ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ in Haldwani

Salman Khan’s alleged caste comment during the interview for the promotion of ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, there is huge indignation in Kumaon. In the Haldwani’s premiere on Saturday, Valmiki society members stopped the show and demolished the theater. The angry people also tore off the screen of the cinema hall. Even in Bageshwar and Pantnagar, people of the society protested against Salman and burnt his effigies.

On Saturday, people of Valmiki society came down on the road to protest against the film’s screening in Haldwani’s Prem Cinema. During the first show of the film, people entered the cinema hall and drove the audience out. The protesters also tore off the veil of cinema. Several chairs was also broken. Later the police dispelled the protesters. The director of the cinema handled the next show under police guard by placing a new curtain.
