CBSE likely to upload UGC NET Answer key today

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to release the scanned images of OMR answer sheets with the recorded responses and answer keys for the University Grants Commission’s National Eligibility Test (UGC NET 2017) on cbsenet.nic.in today, that is from December 12.

Once the answer keys are released candidates can challenge the recorded responses if they differ from the ones they had marked on the OMR sheet. Their objections can however be made only through the website between December 12 and 18 after payment of a fee of Rs 1,000 per recorded response via debit or credit cards. Candidates can also challenge the answer key through the website.

This year, the exam was conducted on November 5 in 91 cities at 1700 exam centres across the nation. Speaking to India Today Education, students who have come to appear for the UGC NET 2017 examination at Modern Public School, Karkardooma (New Delhi) said that the overall difficulty of the paper was moderate.

While some students found Paper I, Paper II moderate and Paper III difficult. They also added nothing came out of the syllabus.

The CBSE UGC NET exam is conducted for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for Assistant Professor both in Indian Universities and Colleges.
