New circle rates to push land prices up in Dehradun

Preparations for increasing the circle rate in Dehradun have begun. Circle rate can be increased by two to thirty percent this time. The details of the circle rate will be revealed only after the government approval. The administration has made the proposal of Circle Rate increment and sent it to the government.

Earlier circle rates of land were increased inevery two years but last year the government had decided that new circle rates would be implemented every year from January 1. For this, the administration has done all the work. The Circle Rate proposal has been formulated and sent to the government. According to sources, rates can increase from two to three per cent depending on the area. There is a proposal to increase the circle rate by up to 10 per cent. In some places, there has been an increase in circle rates of up to thirty percent. Overall, this could increase the Circle rate by an average of 10 per cent compared to last year. However, theĀ  proposal has to be first approved by the government.

There will be slight increase in interior areas

The main base for increasing the circle rate is considered to be a street. There are small lanes in the interior areas away from the main road. In such cases, there has been a slight increase in the circle rate in these areas.

Rajpur road area circle rates to be most expensive

In terms of circle rate Rajpur road area of Dehradun will once again top the list. According to sources, the proposal plans to increase the circle rate of Rajpur road up to fifty thousand per square meters. In such a situation, the prices of properties of both sides of Rajpur road are bound to increase. Circle rate remains the highest in this area in Dehradun. This is because of the main road and business activities on both sides of the route.
