Traffic plan for Mussoorie for New Year
In Mussoorie, entry of big vehicles has been banned from today till January 1. The police has taken this step considering the winter carnival and New Year’s Eve celebration .
SP Traffic Dhirendra Gunjyal said that due heavy crowd expectation in the Winter Line Carnival and 31st December, till January 1, large vehicles and tourist buses will not be allowed to enter Mussoorie. Barricades will be installed at Kuthal Gate, Kolhukhet and Jaypee bend.
Traffic Plan for Mussoorie for New Year
1. The traffic going from Doon to Mussoorie will be diverted from Gajjiband to Hathipaon and from then to zero point via Harnam Singh road, incase of traffic jam from Kingkreg to taxi stand, Library Chowk, Kemptee station, from ten grams to 10.00 am to 7pm.
2. On increasing of vehicles on Company Bagh Road, cars will be sent from Library to Spring Road, Beverly Convent School.
3. On the increase in vehicular traffic to Mussoorie, the traffic from Mussoorie will be sent to Jharipani.
4. Vehicles coming from Chamba-Dhanolti will be able to go to Mussoorie via Jaypee bend by bypass.
5. Mall Road will be No Parking Zone. Landhaur Bazar Marg will be oneway till Anupam Chowk.
Here will be parking
Library Taxi Stand, Kemptee Taxi Stand, Multi Story Parking, Picture Palace, On one side of the road on Kingkreg, on the South Road behind the clocktower.
