Center gives permission to shift Dehradun railway station to Harrawala
The preparations for shift to the Dehradun railway station have started. Dehradun railway station will be shifted to Harrawala. It is being done by watching the daily jam and the crowd at the current location. The Chief Minister said that the Center has agreed to this. It is decided that soon the railway team will inspect Harrawala. Chief Minister Rawat told that if Harrawala was not found favorable, then Dehradun, Haridwar, Kathgodam railway station would be developed on a theme basis.
Kathgodam-Dehradun train time to change
The Chief Minister said that the Central Railway Minister has assured the Kathgodam-Dehradun Express time from nine o’clock in the night instead of eight o’clock. A coach of second AC will also increase. The quality coach will be extended in the future. A new estimate of Bageshwar, Tanakpur railway line will also be ready.
Consensus on Haridwar CNG line from Dehradun
The Central Government agreed to the CNG pipeline project from Haridwar to Dehradun. Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said that the work of the pipeline project will be completed within one and a half years. In secretariat on Thursday, Chief Minister Trivendra Rawat said that the CNG line has been approved between Doon-Haridwar to protect the environment of the Doon Valley. Soon Union Cabinet is going to lay the foundation stone of this scheme.
