DM issues guidelines for tourists traveling to Mussoorie

If you are going to Mussoorie, then this news is for you. Dehradun DM Rajesh Kumar has issued a new guideline for those going to Mussoorie. Now only a maximum of 15,000 tourists will be able to visit Mussoorie on weekends. In fact, orders have been issued by the DM in view of the situation of corona infection. Only those people who will have proof of advance hotel booking in Mussoorie will get permission to go to Mussoorie.

Apart from this, it is necessary to register online on the Smart City Portal. Along with this, RT-PCR negative test report of 72 hours before will also be mandatory. District Magistrate Rajesh Kumar said that no person will be allowed to enter the pond, river, waterfall in Mussoorie, Sahastradhara, Guchupani. He said that considering the available rooms in hotels and homestays, the maximum number of tourists has been fixed.

It was seen that the tourist influx was increasing in Mussoorie. In such a situation, there was a fear of spreading of corona. In view of Corona, guidelines were issued by the district administration a few weeks ago to control the number of tourists in Mussoorie. Most of these rules apply. Now after some reduction in the case of Corona, the administration has decided to admit maximum 15000 tourists. Earlier the number of tourists was not fixed. The District Magistrate said that cent percent attendance of all the group officers would be mandatory in all government offices.
