Petrol, Diesel prices break records in Dehradun
Diesel prices have reached record levels in Dehradun. At present, diesel is selling 64.56 rupees per liter in Doon valley. Diesel prices also rose in the year 2014, but even then the diesel had reached Rs 62.21 per liter, but in the year 2018, diesel prices have been increasing steadily. After January 1st this year, the price of diesel has increased by four rupees.
Government petroleum companies sold diesel at Rs 64.56 per liter in Dehradun on Friday. It is a record of the most expensive diesel selling ever. In the year 2013, the highest rate of diesel was Rs 55.52 on September 14. While the rate of diesel in the state is highest at Rs 62.21 in August 31, 2014. It is also a cause of concern as the price of diesel at the record level for the public facing inflation.
The direct impact of rising diesel prices is on rent and freight. At present, on an average, petrol pumps of government petroleum companies (HPCL, BPCL, IOC) are being sold at a price of Rs 64.56 per liter. According to transport businessman Devilal Bhatia, the direct impact of rising diesel prices is on freight and it is increasing inflation. At the same time, Congress general secretary Prithviraj Chauhan says that this is a direct failure of the government. Government oil companies are recovering profits and the public is bearing the brunt of inflation.
Petrol price crosses Rs 75/l in Dehradun
Petrol prices are also increasing steadily. Petrol in Dehradun on Friday sold 75.11 per liter. In 2013, petrol was the most expensive at 79.66 rupees. There has been an increase of 2.5 paise since January 2018. The way gasoline prices are rising, people are afraid that petrol can also reach the highest level.
LPG cylinder reaches 750 rupees
The price of domestic gas cylinders has come down by four and a half rupees. Earlier domestic gas cylinder was selling Rs 754, which has now become Rs 749.50. The subsidy of Rs 232 is coming directly into the account. Last month, the subsidy was Rs 237. On Friday the prices of commercial cylinders increased by three rupees. Commercial cylinder has increased from 1328 rupees to 1331 rupees.
