Uttarakhand Corona update: 53 cases found on 26 February

A corona patient died after two days in Uttarakhand. Within the last 24 hours, 53 new infected cases have been detected in six districts. An infected case has been found in Bageshwar district after 24 days. The total number of infected has reached 96890. Currently 364 active patients are under treatment.

In the investigation of 10191 samples in the state on Friday, corona infection has not been confirmed. The maximum number of 30 corona patients has been found in Dehradun district. Eight were found in Haridwar and Nainital, five in Udham Singh Nagar, one each in Pithoragarh and Bageshwar districts.

An infected patient has been found after 24 days in Bageshwar district. This has left Bageshwar out of contention to be a corona-free district. According to the Covid guidelines of the Center, the district is declared corona free if no infected cases are found for 28 days.

One corona patient has died in the state. In this, 79-year-old patient at Max Hospital lost the battle against Corona. So far 1691 patients have died. At the same time, 38 patients have been sent home after recovering. Together, 93438 patients have become healthy. Currently, the state’s recovery rate has been recorded at 96.44 percent.

Corona infection is under control in Uttarakhand, but in many states the government is strict on negligence in view of the second wave of infection. For the prevention of infection, the government has now fixed a fine of five hundred rupees for throwing the used masks in the open place. Earlier, the government had imposed a fine ranging from 100 to 500 rupees for not wearing a mask.

In order to protect the state public against another corona outbreak, the government has shown a strictness against the negligent people by increasing the sample investigation. At present, less than hundred infected cases are being reported daily in the state. So far, the figure of infected has reached more than 96 thousand. Although 93 thousand infected patients have beaten the corona.

Secretary Health Amit Singh Negi said that negligence is being dealt strictly to prevent corona infection. Many times people are throwing used masks out into the open. There is a risk of spreading the infection. If anyone throws the mask in the open, they will be fined Rs 500. At the same time, for not wearing masks in public places, a penalty of Rs 100 has been made in the first time, Rs 200 in the second time and Rs 500 in the third time.

Sampling picks up in Haridwar after Corona’s new strain

After the arrival of new strains of corona in some states of the country, the antigen investigation of corona in Haridwar has intensified. From the railway station to the bus base, Harki Pauri, outside the fair control room, the antigen investigation of Corona is being done.

The investigation of Corona has been started in view of the number of devotees coming from different states of the country regarding the bathing on the occasion of Magha Purnima. Pilgrims arriving by trains are being investigated at the checkout camp at the railway station.

An investigation camp was also organized at the bus station. Along with this, the pilgrims who visit a Harki Pauri are also being tested. Many investigation centers have also been established here. An investigation center has also been built outside the fair control building.

Random checking continues on the border as well

Teams of the Health Department were deployed on Friday at all the Border Narsan, Bhagwanpur, Najibabad borders of the district. These teams were randomly tested people for Corona coming to Haridwar.
