Railway removes ITI compulsion for Group D posts

The mandatory requirement of ITI in Railway Recruitment Examination has been abolished. Now there will be no mandatory need for ITI or NCT qualification for Group D examinations. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal tweeted this decision. The Railway Minister has tweeted the information in a series of tweets. With this decision, the efforts of lakhs of students have been rewarded, who have been agitating for the last several days. Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Sushil Modi, congratulated Railway Minister Piyush Goyal on eliminating the imperative of ITI and said that this decision will benefit thousands of students of Bihar.

The Railway Minister has tweeted that in this whole subject the  youth have expectations from the government. All get equal opportunities, get enough time to prepare for railway recruitment, so decisions have been made in the public interest. He said that all the candidates who hold Class 10 or ITI or NCVT certificate will now be considered eligible for the Level 1 examination. They can apply for these posts. We are re-establishing this situation. Now, 10th pass students can apply for this examination.
