Uttarakhand Government amends Mahashivratri holiday to from 14th Feb to 13th Feb

The holiday of Mahashivratri festival in Uttarakhand will take place on February 13 instead of February 14. After the amendment to this holiday date, the state cabinet meeting will now be held on February 14 instead of February 13.

The festival of Mahashivratri will be celebrated on February 13 in Uttarakhand. The festival will be held on February 14 in many parts of the country. The first government had declared the date of the holiday on February 14. Now the government has revised the date of the holiday.

In this regard, General Administration Department Principal Secretary Radha Rathudi issued the order. Earlier, on December 15, 2017, the holiday for the Mahashivratri festival was announced on February 14 in the list released for public holidays. On the other hand, after the amendment to the date of Mahashivaratri holiday, confusion over the Cabinet meeting ended.
