Another lockdown possible as Corona cases increase in UK

Preparations for a national lockdown have begun after a surge in new cases of Corona in Britain. Discussion has started on the issue of whether or not there will be a lockdown at the national level after about six thousand new infections are received daily in the country. Meanwhile several new measures have been implemented for the prevention of corona infection.

The government on Friday announced strict restrictions including the imposition of local lockdowns in northern England. Besides banning the gathering of people in public places, restaurants, cinemas and pubs have been asked to be closed from 10 am to 5 am. The move comes after a sharp jump in the number of infected people in northern England and London.

On an average, about six thousand new cases are being reported daily in England since September 10. Whereas last week, an average of 3,200 cases were found daily. North-west England and London are becoming the epicenter of the pandemic. Meanwhile, when asked by Sky News about the re-imposition of a lockdown, Health Minister Matt Hancock said, “I cannot answer this question right now.” The number of people admitted to hospital is doubling every eight days. We will take steps to protect the people.

After the decline in Britain, the Corona graph has started growing again. So far in this country, more than three lakh 80 thousand have been found infected and more than 41 thousand have been killed.

Lockdown in Israel again

In Israel, a lockdown was again put in place for three weeks from Friday in an attempt to curb the Corona outbreak. Under this new measure, along with keeping many businesses closed, the movement and gathering of people will be stopped. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned on Thursday that strict measures may be required to prevent infection. In this country, more than one lakh 75 thousand have been found infected so far.
