1350 LT teacher vacancies to be filled soon in Uttarakhand

With 917 spokespersons in Uttarakhand, 1350 LT cadre teachers in the education department will also get direct recruitment. These posts are independent of the promotion of 1949 teachers in LT from spokesman cadre. Seventy percent posts are to be filled with direct recruitment.

The education department has started its preparation. On the other hand, Education Director RK Kunwar has also requested the Subordinate Staff Selection Commission to release the result of LT recruitment in January. In January, the examination for 1214 posts of LT teacher was held. Given the shortage of potential teachers from April 1, the Education Department has started working faster.

Kunwar said that with the spokesperson, preparations are also being made to start direct recruitment of LTs. With the promotion of the spokesperson cadre, the recruitment process of the vacant posts will be started once the vacant posts are clear. The department is trying to fill up most of the posts of direct recruitment within a year. Education director RK Kunwar says that the letter has been sent to the Subordinate Selection Commission to release the result of LT recruitment in January. Once the promotion is approved, the new recruitment process of LT will be started.
